Effective S/FTP shielding in this 28 AWG copper cable protects against interference. Gigabit Ethernet speeds (1000 Mbps) are supported for excellent performance in high-speed data transmissions, including with HDMI repeaters and extenders, as well as in PoE applications. Low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH): In a fire, plastics can release hydrogen chloride and other hazardous gases. To prevent this, the thermoplastic materials in the jacket of this cable are halogen-free, resulting in exceptionally low smoke emission. No corrosive or caustic acids are released.
