Description

The Pao Steel pendant lamp by HAY is inspired by the shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents, which glow softly at night. Designer Naoto Fukasawa has captured this same atmospheric warmth with the rounded shape of the lampshade and the concealed LED light source. The result is a simple yet aesthetically pleasing lamp whose design will find a place in almost any corner of the house: above the dining table, as a nightlight in the bedroom, or as ambient lighting in the living room. Wherever you place Pao Steel, its gentle light and design will fill the room with tranquility and style.

Thanks to the latest developments in LED technology, it has become possible to conceal the light source inside the lampshade beneath a PMMA diffuser, thus preserving the overall aesthetic of the design object. The lampshade itself is made of steel with a high-gloss finish and is available in a wide variety of colors and sizes.
