Description

Teak garden chair with a stainless steel frame. The Lilium chair by Skagerak, designed by Bjarke Ingels, is distinguished by its high-quality and modern design. It features a delicate stainless steel frame with a cross-shaped base. Rounded edges and soft lines define the design and create a sense of lightness. The teak seat and backrest rest on the frame. The slatted structure provides pleasant ventilation for the back in summer and allows rainwater to run off quickly in bad weather. The Lilium chair can be perfectly combined with other garden furniture from the same series, creating an inviting seating area in the garden, on the patio, or on the balcony. A matching seat cushion from Skagerak is available to further enhance the chair's comfort. As the teak is untreated, the surface will develop a patina over time, eventually transforming into a beautiful silvery-gray color. To maintain or intensify the original honey-gold color, regularly apply a suitable furniture oil. Thanks to its high content of natural oils, the wood is resistant to wind and weather. In winter, it is recommended to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or basement.
