Characteristics:

• Due to the large anchoring depth of the FHB II-A L anchor rod, the system achieves maximum load values. This means fewer fixing points and smaller anchor plates are required.
• The cone geometry of the FHB II-A L anchor rods is specially optimized for high tensile load values. This ensures maximum performance in cracked concrete.
• The FHB II-A L anchor rod is approved for use with both cartridges and injection mortar. This ensures maximum flexibility in application.
• Borehole cleaning can be omitted when the FHB II-A L anchor rod is used in combination with the FHB II-P/-PF cartridge. This saves valuable installation time.
• When using FHB II-A L in conjunction with the injection mortar FIS HB, through-hole mounting is possible by means of annular gap filling without further aids.

Application:

• The FHB II-A L is a force-controlled expanding composite anchor for pre-positioned and through-bolt installation.
• For the FHB II-A L, the annular gap must be filled with the high-bond special mortar FIS HB during through-hole mounting.
• The anchor rod can optionally be set using Highbond special mortar FIS HB or cartridge FHB II-P / FHB II-PF HIGH SPEED and is fully bonded in the borehole.
• When the hexagonal nut is tightened, the cones of the anchor rods are pulled into the mortar shell, which clamps against the borehole wall.
• When using the mortar cartridge, the anchor rod is set using a rotary hammer with a percussive action. Use the RA-SDS setting tool, item no. 62420, for this purpose.
