Description

Anybus X-gateway – EtherNet/IP Adapter – Modbus TCP Server. The Anybus X-gateway connects an EtherNet/IP network to a Modbus TCP network, enabling seamless information flow between the two PLC systems. FAST I/O DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO NETWORKS. The X-gateway is primarily designed for transferring cyclic I/O data between the two networks, thus relieving the PLC of additional tasks. The gateway acts as a slave in the EtherNet/IP network and a server in the Modbus TCP network. Data transmission is transparent, and up to 512 bytes of I/O data can be transferred in each direction. EASY COMMISSIONING – NO PROGRAMMING REQUIRED. The connection between the two networks is configured using the "Anybus Configuration Manager" software. No programming knowledge is required. The factory default setting for I/O data transfer is 20 bytes.
