Description

The Flying Bulls' EC-135 was built in 2006 and bears the registration OE-XFB. The helicopter is approximately ten meters long and is powered by two Turbomeca turbines with a combined output of 2 x 643 hp. Its maximum speed is approximately 290 km/h, with a service ceiling of 6,100 m. The EC-135 is certified to carry up to six people (one pilot and five passengers).

Our EC-135 is a licensed super-scale replica in 1:32 scale with the original Flying Bulls livery. The model is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing – even the individual rivets of the solid plastic cockpit are depicted. This helicopter features LED lighting at the front, bottom, and rear, which not only completes its striking appearance and allows flying at dusk, but also provides information about the current flight status and the battery voltage. If the LED starts flashing and turns red, the voltage is too low, so the pilot immediately knows it's best to return for a recharge.

The battery's standout feature is its integrated USB charging port, which simply connects to the included USB cable. A full battery provides approximately 8-10 minutes of flight time. Thanks to high-quality electronics, including auto-start and auto-landing, the helicopter's flight characteristics are docile, making it suitable for beginners despite its multi-blade rotor head. The comfortable, high-quality 2.4 GHz transmitter offers selectable flight modes (from beginner to advanced), ergonomic control sticks, and the option to switch between Mode 2 (factory setting) and Mode 1. Additionally, the EC-135 allows for inverted flight at the touch of a button once a safe altitude of approximately nine meters is reached. To ensure sufficient power for such maneuvers, the super-scale helicopter is equipped with two high-performance brushless motors (front/rear). Other features include automatic altitude hold via various optical and electronic sensors. The model is delivered as an RTF (Ready-to-Fly) version, meaning all components – except for standard household batteries for the remote control – are already included in the package and the helicopter can be started immediately after charging the battery.
