Meditrade Alcoderm® skin disinfectant is used for disinfection prior to simple injections and punctures of peripheral vessels. The skin is carefully rubbed with the solution and kept moist for 15 seconds. For cold compresses, Alcoderm® should be diluted with equal parts water. Note: Alcoderm® is not sporicidal and is therefore not suitable for storing sterile instruments and syringes. Always read the label and instructions for use before use.
