The Beurer nasal irrigator is compatible with the IH 21 and IH 26 inhaler models. One of these two inhalation devices is absolutely necessary for using the Beurer nasal irrigator.
The Beurer nasal irrigator is filled with 2-10 ml of isotonic saline solution and connected to the compressed air hose. A narrow jet of water is then sprayed from the irrigator head into one nostril. Excess nasal secretions, for example, those resulting from dust exposure, are thus removed gently and painlessly.
It is not recommended to use this product during a severe cold, as the water jet could irritate the already stressed mucous membranes.
