How does EM 55 Menstrual Relax+ work?

The Menstrual Relax is a self-adhesive TENS device with a heat function for pain relief from menstrual cramps and pain due to endometriosis.

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) involves the electrical stimulation of nerves through the skin. This suppresses the transmission of pain signals along the nerve fibers and increases the release of the body's own endorphins. These endorphins reduce the perception of pain by acting on the central nervous system. In this way, pain can be alleviated or suppressed.
