Rapid antigen test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen

The SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test kit is a diagnostic in vitro rapid test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen (Ag) in human nasopharyngeal swab samples from individuals who meet the clinical criteria for Covid-19.

The SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test kit detects the current infection during the acute phase of Covid-19, while the coronavirus is still present in large quantities in the respiratory tract (nasopharynx).

The RapidFor Covid-19 antigen rapid test kit is approved by the BfArM as a layperson test (file number special approval 5640-S-053/21) and is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of a SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Purpose of use:
This kit is used for the qualitative in-vitro detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen. The SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test detects the current infection during the acute phase of COVID-19, while the coronavirus is still present in large quantities in the respiratory tract (nasopharynx).

A positive test result requires further confirmation. A negative test result cannot rule out the possibility of infection.
